These earrings are for that. A small oval of Starry Night Jasper sits at the lobe. Each stone carries a thin band of warm rust at the equator, like a single horizon line. From the Jasper falls a long, matte-black obsidian bar. It hangs straight as a plumb line. The construction is inverted from its sister pairs. The map is at the ear. The pull of gravity is below it.
Jasper has always been the navigator's stone. Worn for the safe return as much as the safe departure. Black obsidian below it clears the field around the wearer of anything that does not belong. Together, they make a quiet kit for finding your way: the picture stone above, the grounding stone below.
