That is what these stones are. Rare green Desert Bloom variscite, cut for me by Erika at Mountain Girl Cabs, each one a small map of the same walk. Dark ground with the green breaking through, some barely beginning, some flooded with light. I did not want them sitting in a box. I wanted them out in the world, on the hands and hearts of the people who would feel themselves in them.
