Pointed marquise drops of Fryite jasper hang from hand-formed sterling silver ear wires, with black and translucent smoky blue sweeping through warm tan. Double-bar prongs grip each stone on both sides, and the open back lets light pass through the darker layers.
This rare jasper comes from one small river valley, and its bands formed layer by layer inside ancient basalt. Jasper has long been called a stone of courage and protection, said to steady you when the moment asks for more than you think you have.
