My Story
Have you ever felt a connection to something in your life that you wear, something that expresses exactly who you are from the inside out? Every stone has a journey, a story, just like you. When the perfect piece finds its way to you, the energy reverberates and the outcome is pure authentic beauty. Imagine jewelry that becomes an extension of your own unique inner glow. A harmonious blend, a cohesion of Earth and Art. My hope is to capture a fragment of the majestic nature of these lands in my creations…..and adorn you with its everlasting beauty. I’ve been an artist of many mediums for as long as I can remember. Always doodling as a young girl, spent my entire high school career in the art room and involved in the performing arts, eventually attending University for Musical Theater. After a summer spent painting transformational makeup on the faces of beautiful Drag Queens, I embarked on a new adventure and moved to LA to attend a trade school specializing in Makeup for film and photography. Though completely in love with the trade, I realized that big city living was definitely not for me! So I packed up all my belongings and moved to this tiny island in Southeast Alaska, a nature lover's paradise. I knew instantly, I’d found my forever home. Everything about the wilderness fed my artistic nature and the isolation gave me space and time to hone in on a creative outlet. After suffering from a traumatizing life event, I picked up some silver and a torch and began making jewelry as a means to cope with the grief. Little did I know I would fall so hard for the art of jewelry making and ten years of self-taught silversmithing later here I am, still learning, still growing and still loving the craft. As with everything in life, my art is always evolving. Over the past few years I’ve started practicing yoga, meditation and working with crystals and stones as a part of a self care regimen involving energetic healing. All of these elements have become deeply integrated with the way I live my life. So finding a way to incorporate the stones into my jewelry craft feels like perfect balance and a harmonious fit. My jewelry is very much influenced by nature and intuitively designed. I let the stones speak to me and flow with their natural unique energy. It brings me great joy and fulfillment to work with the stones and metal via my artistic expression and to share that positive healing energy with you in the form of wearable art. I truly believe these stones end up exactly where they are meant to be. Your piece is out there just waiting to glow with you. Thanks for spending time and space with me here. Love & Light, ❥༒ℰ𝓇𝒾𝓃 |
