Soft Spear carries two Golden Hills turquoise cabochons in an upside-down arrowhead silhouette, pale blue with a lavender cast and veins of warm brown matrix running through them. The color is hard to describe without sounding like you are reaching. Soft as morning before the wind picks up. These stones were cut from a single mine that only works in winter, when the ground freezes hard enough to dig. This mine produces a softness that took a hard climate to make.
The stones hang from sterling silver hoops with a lever latch that closes smoothly through the lobe. Quiet movement at the ear, distinct presence on the soul. Nothing forced.
Turquoise has been called a sky stone for as long as anyone has worn it. A throat-chakra ally, opening communication and clearing the way for the truth to come out without cracking. The Golden Hills variety carries that with a particular calm, the lavender hue softening the protective energy without weakening it. The arrowhead shape gives it an edge.
