Freyja
Desert Bloom Variscite Sister Pendant · One-of-a-Kind · Sister to Eira
There is a kind of beauty that doesn't need permission.
In Norse mythology, Freyja was the queen of love, beauty, and magic, the goddess who got first choice of half the warriors slain in battle. She didn't ask. She didn't soften herself. She walked into the world fully herself and let the world meet her there.
This piece carries that energy. High-grade desert bloom variscite, neon green and black webbing layered through warm soft tones, cut from the same vein as her sister piece by Erika at her bench.
Variscite is the stone of unseen networks, the connections that hold you up when you didn't know you were leaning. Freyja carries that with a particular fullness, the energy of being held by your own power.
For the person who has stopped apologizing for taking up the space they take up.
A note on this piece: Freyja began as an earring made for myself, and even my own ears couldn't carry what the stone wanted to become. So I brought it down to where it belongs, closer to the chest. The pendant you see now is the form the stone always wanted.
